Staff training and practice

Short lessons and AI role-play so new staff get up to speed faster

How it works

  1. Your SOPs and scriptsYour own procedures and scripts are the source material.
  2. Short lessons and quizzesThey become short lessons with quick quizzes.
  3. AI role-play practiceStaff practise real customer situations with an AI partner.
  4. Scores to the managerThe manager sees each person's scores.

A worked example

  1. A restaurant group in Jurong hands over its service SOP, the allergy-handling script and the upsell guide.
  2. They become short lessons of about five minutes each, with a few quiz questions, sent to new staff on WhatsApp.
  3. A new server practises with an AI playing a guest who says, halfway through ordering, that she has a shellfish allergy. The server tries the script and gets feedback.
  4. The outlet manager sees each person's quiz scores and practice results, and spends her coaching time on the people who need it.

Before and after

Before

After

New staff shadow a busy colleague and pick up habits that differ from the SOP.

They learn the SOP in short lessons and practise it before meeting guests.

Managers cannot tell who has understood the procedure until a mistake happens.

Quiz scores show who is ready and who needs help.

Training depends on whoever has time that week.

Every new person gets the same training from day one.

What the AI does

  • Turns your SOPs and scripts into short lessons and quizzes.
  • Plays a customer so staff can practise real situations.
  • Gives the learner feedback against your own script.
  • Sends each person's scores to the manager.

What your team keeps

  • Writing and approving the SOPs the lessons are built from.
  • Coaching in person and on the floor.
  • Deciding who is ready to serve guests alone.
  • Hiring, performance and everything about the person.

Questions

How much does the staff training and practice system cost?

Setup starts from S$4,499. The monthly fee is set by your volume and agreed on the call, before anything is built. Usage costs, such as AI processing for the role-play, are billed on top of the monthly fee. Meta's WhatsApp message fees are billed to your business by Meta, and subscriptions you already pay for, such as Google Workspace or Moodle hosting, remain yours. The minimum term is three months, and after that you can cancel any time.

Where does my data go, and does this meet PDPA?

Your SOPs stay in your own tools, such as Google Drive, wherever possible. Staff scores are personal data about your employees, so the scope sets out who can see them. The written scope says where everything is stored and lists any personal data the system handles and why, so you can check it against your own PDPA obligations. Your data is never used to train AI models.

What happens when the AI does not know the right answer?

In a lesson or a role-play, the AI only judges against your own SOPs and scripts. If a learner asks something the SOPs do not cover, it says it does not know and flags the question for the manager, so the gap can be fixed in the SOP.

How long does setup take?

Usually three to four weeks. The time goes on turning your SOPs into lessons, agreeing the role-play scenarios with you, and testing them with a few of your staff before the whole team starts.

Will staff feel that the AI is watching them?

The practice is meant as a safe place to make mistakes. You decide what managers see. We suggest showing managers only the quiz scores and completion, and keeping the role-play transcripts private to the learner.
