Our first evening ran on 9 October 2026 at our office at 3 Depot Close. It followed five levels of using AI at work, with a demo at each one:
- Chat. Asking well. The same request for a follow-up email, written once as a bare prompt and once with the goal, the context, a role, an example, the format and what to avoid, side by side.
- Skills. Saved instructions the AI follows every time, like an SOP. The demo Skill turns messy meeting notes into decisions, owners, due dates and a follow-up email.
- Agents. AI connected to your apps. The demo prompt finds ten interior design firms on Google Maps, reads their websites, scores each one and drafts emails to the top three in Notion.
- Build. Pages and small tools made without writing code, such as an AI readiness quiz.
- AI operating system. One AI connected to everything a business runs on, answering questions such as "what is my priority this week?"
The second half covered why AI states a wrong fact as confidently as a right one, and how to design work around that. Lookups and sums go to code and your own data, every claim links to its source, and numbers, legal points and deadlines always get a human check. NRIC numbers, passwords and bank details never go into an AI tool.
Leads and sales was the bottleneck most of the room named. Asked why reliable AI matters to them, members said it was about not giving customers wrong information, protecting their reputation and keeping client data safe.
